The baguette was crusty on the outside, soft on the inside, perfect in every way. The meatballs were big, homemade, and insanely flavorful. The cheese was stretchy, tangy, and fantastic. The marinara was mildly sweet, nicely spiced, and applied in perfect proportion. Hot tip: Ask for some garlic butter for dipping. Credit to my wife for discovering this addition. During our visit, the owner prepared and served the food himself. I was blown away by the quality and the care he took serving us. This is a tiny quaint and attractive place with indoor seating for maybe 6-10 people. They also have a couple of tables outside. The menu is really impressive considering the size of the establishment. My wife and I really enjoyed this place. She had a sausage and mushroom calzone that blew her socks off. Ive been meaning to try it all week since i first saw the sign. I got the Corlenone. I am so happy to report that this place is the real deal as far as a “Corner Deli” goes. It’s really hard to find decent chicken or eggplant parm subs like you can get anywhere in NY/NJ. The subs were good, maybe slightly thinner than I’m used to for the chicken, but still good. Also got 2 slices which were good and the garlic knots were great too. So happy to have this place to go to when missing home.
